1–4

1st and 2nd couples set, and dance right hands across halfway round. 1st woman finishes facing out.

5–8

1st woman and 3rd man, giving left hand, cross. All, giving right hand, cross.

9–16

All set, and dance la baratte with the person across them.

17–24

All chase counterclockwise halfway. All, giving left hand, turn one and a half times, finishing in the middle facing up in promenade hold.

25–32

All dance a promenade for three couples, finish with 1st man in second woman position, 1st woman in first man position, 3rd man in second man position, 3rd woman in first man position, and 2nd couple in third place, on opposite sides.

Repeat from new positions. After six times through, all dancers should be back to original places.
